How does Kingcon self storage work?
Our system is simple. We bring a storage unit to your home or business. You simply load it up with your items and lock it with your own lock. Then you can keep it or we can bring it back to our secure, monitored facility.
Is Kingcon Storage expensive to use?
We are very affordable. Rates start as low as $3 per day on our site. Compared to hiring movers, Kingcon’s mobile storage units are substantially less costly. We provide storage to many local or long distance locations.
Will your containers damage my property?
No. We ensure that all containers are placed carefully with ground protection to avoid damage to your lawns and pavement.
Will I have 24/7 access to my container if I store it with Kingcon?
Yes you will. Our facility in Burlington, Ontario is secure and monitored. You can access your items any time and day of the week. (limitations apply)
Can my business store inventory and equipment at Kingcon?
Yes, in fact, many businesses already use Kingcon Storage containers at their location or at our secure facility in Burlington, Ontario.
I am staging my house to sell it. How can Kingcon help?
This is one of our most frequent requests. We’ll deliver a storage unit rental right to your front door. Once you have loaded it with your excess furniture and clutter, we’ll pick it up and bring it back to our yard or take it wherever you choose.
How much will fit into a Kingcon Storage Container?
A 20-ft mobile storage unit holds the contents of a typical 3-bedroom house. If your home is larger, or if you require additional storage space we can supply multiple containers depending on the situation.
How is a Kingcon container constructed?
Our storage units are made of 16-guage heavy steel and have wooden hardwood floors. They are similar to the containers seen on trains and ships used to transport goods across oceans or countries, however ours are engineered with additional climate protections and security in place. Kingcon Storage units are extremely strong and rugged. They are weather proof, damage proof and secure. Your items are better protected in a Kingcon storage container than in your own house.
Does Kingcon have insurance on damage to my merchandise?
It is your responsibility to ensure that your belongings are protected with the proper insurance. If you wish we can refer you to a third-party insurance carrier.
How does payment work?
We typically charge by the month and offer additional discounts to long-term clients. However, our rate structure is completely flexible and we will work with you to come up with a plan suited to your personal storage needs. Unlike some other storage container companies, you can bring your belongings directly to Kingcon’s storage facility and avoid the container delivery charge. In addition, we charge a $25.00 fee which includes all sanitizing to ensure every unit received is disinfected and in good order.
What areas do you serve?
We offer self-storage services at both the customers’ sites or at the Kingcon Storage facility. The cities we serve include Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, the Greater Toronto Area, and The Greater Golden Horseshoe.
